I think a good rider who is at the top will still be a the top with a yz or a kx but the yamaha and the kx will give many more hours of training/riding for your money/time. The ktm is a full race bike with everything light weight and without marginals, if you have a big budget and are a good mechanic then the ktm is better. The kx have much better brakes for example, at every training session, I see people with ktm brakes problems.
